A high street pet store chain had been selling these fascinating and curious animals, and given the size of the chain, made hermit crabs a very popular pet until very recently when they decided to withdraw them and all the supplies required to care for them from sale!

If you find yourself a bit lost since the store withdrew basic care supplies then please make full use of the information here and hopefully you can enjoy your pets once more rather than the constant worry of “what will happen when I run out of food, conditioner, salt, health blocks etc etc” and save yourself precious time scouring the internet searching for answers!

Land hermit crabs ARE easy to care for when you have access to supplies and the correct information, however they do have very specific needs to keep them healthy and happy and they do require commitment, they can live up to 30 years!
